Dublin Castle Conference Centre is the venue for the PLAIN 2015 Conference.
Since its foundation in 1204, Dublin Castle has been at the heart of the history and development of the city. Today, it spans over 44,000 square metres (11 acres). This site contains two museums, two gardens, Government buildings and the State Apartments which are the most important state rooms in the country.
The Conference Centre is located in the old Stamping Building of Dublin Castle. It has been refurbished to act as a major conference space and was used during Ireland’s Presidency of the EU in 2013.
The grounds of the site are free to explore, as is the Chapel Royal, the Chester Beatty Library, the Garda Museum and the Revenue Museum. Access to the State Apartments is by guided tour only.
